SAP Application Manager Atlanta

The IM department is responsible for the ICT strategy, application architecture and management of the outsourced ICT services delivery. In order to secure proper alignment of technical solutions with the global business processes IM is currently looking for a Local Application Manager in Atlanta - management position!

 • Keep the applications (e.g. SAP sd/mm/fi – systemen int scanning) in line with local business processes:
  - Consolidates user needs and prepares change requests where appropriate
  - Capture structural business problems and agree approach forward
  - Prioritizes change requests (RFC’) and issues in conjunction with key-users 
  - Analyzes local impact of RFC’s (Sox relevance, risk analyses, priority, etc.)
  - Coordinate testing/acceptance of RFC’s in conjunction with Key users
  - Assist management in approval process of RFC’s (including authorizations)
• Coordinate handling of functional incidents and executions of RFC’s by ESP
• Advise and assist key users and develop key user community
• Coordinate activities in case of escalations between key users and ESP
• Coordinate data management execution

You have:

• Education and skills on academic level
• Minimal 5 years of Business and IT related experience in an international environment
• Support or consultancy experience in SAP 2-3 jaar
• Teamleading and/or ambition to do so 
• Sound knowledge of business processes in a commercial organization
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Service oriented organizational skills and good communicator
• Knowledge of project/program management methodologies
• Awareness of differences between global standard and local touch, also in human interactions
